Flo's Shoot

Peace Personified

Uluwatu, Bali

XX.XX.24

custom/mini shoot

You know those moments when you want to say "thank you" in the most creative way possible?
(or is that just me?) Well, that’s exactly what this photoshoot was all about. After spending two incredible years in Bali learning Acro Yoga with Flo and her acro partner, Lloydie, I wanted to give back.
They have been such a MASSIVE part of my acro journey, so when the chance to capture some photos for them came up, I jumped at it!

MEET FLO!

For this shoot, we headed to one of our favourite beaches in Uluwatu. Picture this: a serene beach with golden hour light casting an orange hue over the sand and surf, vast greenery in the background, and the occasional rock pool reflecting the sky... it was the perfect photoshoot location to showcase tranquility with a sprinkle of fun. If you haven’t been to Uluwatu yet, trust me, you need to visit! The natural beauty here is UNREAL, and it’s one of those locations that offers endless possibilities for photography.
(and don't get me started on the food and yoga there,
I love them all!)

the Location – Idyllic Uluwatu

We were going for something light, spiritual, and full of embodiment. Flo’s energy radiated through every shot, and it was so lovely to capture her calm presence whilst experimenting with nature's props. We wanted to capture that effortless connection, that kind of peaceful energy that comes with being fully in tune with your body and the world around you.

The Shoot – Spiritual, Feminine, and Full of Flow

Flo was wearing an olive green bikini set to start, which matched perfectly with the earthy and golden tones of the beach, and then switched it up to an electric blue swimsuit for a pop of colour against the monochromatic rocks. Both were incredible choices—simple yet striking, just like Flo herself.

As much as I loved the beach setting and the beautiful light, the real highlight of the shoot was Flo. I had the best time being her hype girl, encouraging her to be free and show off how incredible she looked in front of the camera (which, let’s be honest, didn’t need much encouragement—she’s a NATURAL!). Honestly, this shoot was one of those moments where I felt so lucky to do what I do.
Capturing someone’s essence and energy on camera is always special, but when it’s someone
who has taught you so much, it feels like a full-circle moment.
