For this shoot, we went to the tranquil Talle Creek in Gold Coast. I did this location before with a long term client and I was so thrilled to be back for another photoshoot!

The familiarity of this serene location with nature and calm waters, we found the perfect canvas to capture the beauty of the beach and a hint of the forest.

The Location

The early morning golden hour is a truly enchanting time, adding a touch of warm and soft glow to every shot.

The beach, rocks, logs, and crystal-clear water at Talle Creek became our playground. The atmosphere was serene, creating a canvas that perfectly complemented the spiritual, feminine, and natural vibe we aimed for.

Shoot concept

Alex's movement with grace and purpose showing a mindful approach to her yoga practice. The shoot wasn't just about capturing poses; it was about embodying presence and embracing the natural connection with the surroundings.

The choice of wearing neutral and earthy-colored yoga activewear suggests a deeper connection to nature and blending with the earthy elements. Mala beads added a touch of spirituality to the frames. 

About Alex

Two things - One, I was obsessed with the water photos we captured at the end. The light. Alex. The water. OBSESSED. 
Two - Alex was going through a really challenging time in her life at the time of this shoot, and she was struggling to feel as beautiful as she looked. I felt incredibly privileged to be trusted in that space and to have the opportunity to remind her of just how beautiful she is.
